Review: 2007 Dodge Caliber

Go to MYRIDE.COM for more car videos. The 2007 Dodge Caliber’s got the goods to attract buyers who had previously written off the idea of driving a compact car. And if there’s a performance deficit – even in the sporty Caliber R/T model we drove – the rumored Caliber SRT-4 model should prove just the remedy for the acceleration and handling blues.

@floriansoehl because it is an unreliable car, the quality is poor, plus the costs of maintaining an american car in Europe are quite high.

I have to say, I like the choice of name and the pricing is admirable.

My firend’s mom has a 2007 one (idk trim). It has a 2.4, it does nice, pretty reliable! To bad they didnt put a v6 in there, that would be a nice option!

i can’t understand why not all germans are driving this. For 15 000 you world get a normal vw polo…

I just bought me a caliber rt about a week ago I think it doesn’t do bad for a all wheel drive car.

    I love this car!

lol they didn’t have to file bankruptcy at least. and btw this was the last car that dodge introduced before chrysler had to file bankruptcy. ford and GM are doing better with actually putting out decent products, but chrysler is still in the toilet.

    ???
If they think this car is good, i want to see the bad ones.
They are giving them away over here.

it’s a good car. nice exterior, but all americans cars are crap interior. dushport is like in toy – car.
why the americans and japs won’t learn – to be more carefull on quality of interior ?

european cars are still the best.

  13. s3v3rn11 says:

i drive on of these, no problems for me

  14. 93euro says:

Yeah, i will totally admit that it is a good-looking car….i think that it has an awesome shape, and that it has a very ‘tough’ look that most small cars lack….but the whole think was poorly executed by Chrysler. it’s very cheap inside, and as i said before, it doesn’t drive very well. my rental had 32000 miles on it, and would sometimes mysteriously lose power when i was accelerating. sorry to bust your caliber bubble…

  15. turtwigjavi67 says:

lol i didnt mean the fuck you… i was just kidding… its just i want it so bad because it looks great! but ive been reading it sucks : (

  16. 93euro says:

I drove one and I’m just posting my honest opinion of the Caliber. I’m sorry, I guess I just have high standards, I can’t help it….I drive Honda’s….

  17. turtwigjavi67 says:

so you like posting shit on all caliber videos?
    fuck you!

Yesterday I bought a Dodge Caliber here in Holland its a 2.0 CRD engine. Before this I was driving in a Volkswagen Golf ( VW Rabbit ) I think this Caliber will be drive better ”

  19. taoufiks says:

to compare this shit to accent,i ‘m agree but there is no comparaison between calibra and deutch machne

  20. 93euro says:

lol I am currently renting a 2009 caliber while my 2004 civic is being fixed. my civic has 137k miles on it and drives better than the caliber with only 32k miles on it. the caliber’s steering is already WAY out of alignment (my civic’s steering has NEVER gone out of alignment) and the CVT tranny is quirky and jerky (my civic’s manual tranny is much smoother when operated properly). The caliber also has a rough ride, and easily gets knocked off course when it gets bumpy. I WANT MY CIVIC BACK :(

  21. Roushfan5 says:

Only that as the secound owner he won’t be covered with that “Lifetime Warranty Coverage”

  22. lawsonity says:

Whata piece of shit!!!!! I rented one and it was terrible….

  23. liberalxinxamericax says:

The accent features two different sets of seat cloths (gray outer, confetti styled inner) where as the dodge has black outer, gray mesh inner with a sand pattern cloth set of gray and black pattern underneath. The dodge doors have better catches and do not close themselves nearly as easily due to weight as the hyundais. The seat adjuster mechanism is slightly stronger and finally this car features a refig. in the glove box for drinks. The hyundai does not.

  24. liberalxinxamericax says:

oh and finally my dad owns an 04 hyundai accent. And lets just do simple comparison. My dads car does not have clock standard(we had to buy one at pep boys) it does not have any power features and it has one tone partially dimpled plastics. The dodge has power win lcks mrs sattelite radio, two tone plastics that are slighty thicker (when looking through the defroster vents) and finally features a better texture.

may i ask you what country your from cus your not from the U.S.?
