I feel smarter today from this
How economical is the Prius now? 10 billion cars returning back to Toyota, on massive cargo ships. So that they later can be shipped back to the customer on the same enourmous ships. Enviromental friendly?
its all about the RPM
the higher the RPM ,the more fuel you are burning
u can go 40mph in 2nd gear and 40mph in 3rd gear
but u burn more fuel in 2nd gear since RMP are higher in 2nd
keeping the car in high gears helps the profesiopnal drivers get an extra lap b4 going into the pit
anyways… BMW FTW!!!!
It’s so simple to understand (I hope you all did
). Prius was pushed to the limits. BMW, well, it was just a walk in the park for it (
). So, Prius was going like 5k-6k rpm and BMW was like 2k-3k. It’s logical that it was more economic. Wanna save the Earth? By BMW!!!!! ;D
Just like the Corvette if you drive it with some sense you can get over 32MPG on the highway at 65mph. I have seen it.
Walking is better than a Prius!
BMW is better than the PRIUS
@Froggybomb
Wow those are great numbers for a V8. Many people don’t know that their driving style is the one that needs to be changed rather then the car. I drive very light on the pedal but not to the point of making traffic angry.
VAG wins again.
1.6 miles to the gallon for the Ferrari. That’s gotta be a record.
the audi R8 is awesome! it looks great, it performs well, it’s one of my favorite cars
this video does make a great point though, i mean i drive… people are always OOOHHH V8′S ARE BAD!! but it’s really just how you drive them, i mean i was getting around 22-25mpg with the 305 5.0L V8 that was in my camaro, and around town it was like 17-19 ish
I’m awfully sorry, I’ve just spotted a grammar mistake in that last post as well. I do so humbly beseech your forgiveness.
Ah well, my spelling may not be spot on. However, I have the intelligence to understand the concept at hand.
Spell properly.
That’s the whole point!!!!
Drive like a nutter – foot to the floor and you will consume fuel.
Drive conervativley and you will conserve fuel.
F599 rulez!
1.6 miles to the gallon! New world record yeah!
That is the sound of money!
Exploding!
yeah right, and my Sierra’s made of pure, frickin gold!… get a life, you tard!!!
Jezza is right. Don’t go around selling your normal car and getting a stupid smart car, change the way you drive it. Keep a light foot and if you have a manual just plop it in top gear and maintain the light foot.
also when the prius is floored the electric motor doesn’t kick in
@YourGrannysGranny
Also, the “big” savings is in the stop and go traffic and in town driving. The electric motor is doing nothing at highway speed.
R8 rules!!!
The Prius-M3 race, is biased.
Because the Prius is so slow that the M3 didn’t have to do much to keep up. But the Prius had to use all of the power it had to move.
can anyone remember the race where they went to the blackpool illumination god what a joke jeremy fucked up by not taking it seriously
