Guaranteed the Miata driver knows how to drift. I could drift the very first day I got mine. It’s a RWD fucking go kart. It’s awesome.
Miata hit the bump, lost traction [because he probably didn't have the Limited Slip differential that's in there stock, at least for the R package anyhow] and the civic driver slammed on the brakes as a precautionary measure. It’s not rocket science. It’s avoiding an accident.
Also the sparks were from the Civic. Hatches all have a tow hook stock that probably hit the ground when he was braking / hitting the dip in the road.

i dont think that the miata broke something, it rellay looks like his rear tyres ar spooling, and it looks like the sparks are coming from the civic, doesn’t it?
